Haines Contracting has been serving the Central Bucks Area since 1980. The company was started as a sole proprietor by David Haines and was later incorporated in the state of Pennsylvania in December 1987. Dave resides in Bedminster with his wife & 4 children.
- Started in business in 1982 & incorporated in December of 1987
- Joined NARI of Phila. in 1989 & became a board member & second vice president in 1990
- In June of 1990 we worked on a project with Phila. NARI & Channel 10 news reporter Orion Reed on completing a kitchen project that was never completed by a "fly by night " contractor. (Click link for video)
- Became a NARI Certified Remodeled on July 25, 1991 after successfully completing the 20 week study group in preparation for the 550 question test, which took 8 hours .
- In 1992 Haines Contracting was one of the Charter members to form the New Bux-mont NARI Chapter and Dave served as Vice president.
- In 1993 Dave lead Bux-mont NARI's 1st certified remodeler Study group and 11 area contractors became NARI Certified Remodelers.
- Dave got married in May 1996 and didn't waste any time in starting his family of now 4 children.
- In summer of 1998 a project we were working on was filmed and featured on the Discovery Channel's remodeling program "Gimme Shelter 2".
- Year 2000 & 2002 Contractor of the Year award winner for residential additions between $100,000 and $250,000 from the Bucks-Mont chapter of NARI
- Worked with Bucks-Mont NARI on Emerald Hollow, for Habitat for Humanity Blitz Build, December 2002
